Corporate Social Responsibility

A corporate commitment to socially responsible practices marks sanofi-aventis Philippines’ successful business operations. The affiliate has adopted Corporate Social Responsibility as an integral part of doing business.

Through “Blue Hands”, a network of employee volunteers, sanofi-aventis Philippines conducts a range of philanthropic and community initiatives.

The flagship humanitarian sponsorship program of the Philippine affiliate is Pediacare, which aims to promote the health and well-being of sick, underprivileged children in the community. Beneficiaries include service ward patients of the Philippine Heart Center, Philippine Children’s Medical Center and the Philippine General Hospital, as well as slum dwellers under the care of the Urchins Street Kids Association.

The company instills the spirit of volunteerism among its employees, encouraging them to share their time, resources and talents, especially with poor children, a cause dear to the heart of the sanofi-aventis Group.

With the Group’s breakthrough products and major advances in research, the Philippine affiliate hopes to contribute in a significant way to the improvement of the health and well-being of all Filipinos.
